Greg Warlick

Send Email

Personal:  Greg was born and raised in Oklahoma. He confirmed his salvation in Jesus Christ in 1999, at the age of 25, after many years of struggling with the reality of an early childhood decision for Him. He has been married to his wife Jenny for over 20 years, and is the father of three wonderful children, Paige (pursuing a career in Cosmetology), Katie and Nathan (both presently homeschooled).

Career:  Greg is currently a Lieutenant with the Oklahoma City Fire Dept, and has served his community as a Firefighter/EMT-Paramedic for over 20 years. He has also worked in the past for Midwest City EMS and Medi-Flight of Oklahoma. Greg earlier achieved the elite rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America prior to joining the United States Army, at the age of 17, serving 8 years during peacetime in the Reserve and Guard components.

Ministry:  Greg has been a member of Crestview Baptist Church for over 20 years, and has served as a Youth Worker and Sunday School Teacher in the Youth Dept for many years. He was ordained to the Deacon Ministry in 2002, and has been serving the needs of Crestview since that time. In 2008, Greg and his wife Jenny surrendered to God’s call to a life in Missions. Since that time, he has led many groups on mission trips taking the Gospel to Mexico, South Africa, Russia, and Panama. Crestview called Greg on staff as the Missions Minister in 2011.

Interests:  Camping, backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, pretty much anything outside.

Things I just love:  Spending quantity time with the bride of my youth Jenny, listening to my daughter Paige sing, going places with my daughter Katie, working out with my son Nathan, family and friends, movies, music, Mexican food, my church, teaching God’s Word, and being present when God does something awesome that only He can get the glory for doing.

Those who have impacted me in ministry:  My Pawpaw (Mike Bostwick)-who from an early age showed me faith in action, Charlie Thomas-who demonstrated to me great humility and service, Tuffy Wigley-for a great example of always being a witness for Christ, Ricky W.-for introducing me to the joy of Missions, and last but not least Terry Rials for his years of pastoring, teaching, preaching, mentoring, and friendship. Thank you!
